WEAPONS

How do I unlock weapons in Colossatron?

Colossatron features a huge range of powerful weapons including rail guns, lasers, flamethrowers and lightning spires. A selection of these weapons will be made available from the moment you start the campaign and will constantly cycle throughout the week.

There are six trial weapons at all times and a new range is automatically equipped once the timer expires. It’s the perfect way to test different combinations, experiment with new play styles and become the ultimate Colossatron strategist!

Tell me more!

Once you’ve found a weapon you love – and, let’s be honest, they’re all pretty awesome – you can purchase it for good using Prisms. Purchasing a weapon grants you unlimited access and there are no time or usage restrictions whatsoever. Read on for additional details!

PRISMS

What are Prisms and how do I get them?

Prisms are the most valuable currency in Colossatron and can only be obtained through general gameplay or in-app purchase. They are awarded upon destroying a capital city and can also be found in hidden caches throughout the game. Key uses including switching gadgets, upgrading armor, reviving Colossatron and permanently unlocking new weapons. Prisms can also be exchanged for Cash in the Store. More on that below!

CASH

How do I earn Cash and where can I spend it?

Cash is awarded whenever an enemy unit or building is destroyed. You can also earn Cash by trading in Prisms via the Store. Cash can be used between campaign levels to tweak and improve Colossatron for upcoming battles.

Primary uses include:

- Repairing Colossatron

- Purchasing additional Powercores

- Purchasing power-ups (Mega Bombs, Shields & Rapid Fire)

- Reconfiguring Colossatron between levels

CAMPAIGN

I’m new to Colossatron, do you have any tips?

Colossatron features a highly destructive campaign spanning seven unique continents. Each continent serves as a self-contained sector comprising three cities and a capital. Players need to survive each continent without dying in order to progress further in the campaign. Fail to make it through in one go and you’re back to the start of your current location.

That sounds hard!

Fear not. Cash can be used to improve Colossatron between levels to boost your chances of victory. You can also use Prisms to revive Colossatron should the need arise. Stay strong and believe in your skills. You got this!

What happens if I die during the campaign?

After dying you will return to the opening city of your current continent. Existing Powercores will be lost but any previously purchased gadgets will remain intact. The only thing you lose is your current layout.

Anything else we should know?

It’s important to note that existing Powercores are always reset when you reach a new continent. Gadgets are the only persistent item so don’t be alarmed if something goes missing.

PRESTIGE MODE

What are the key functions and benefits of Prestige Mode?

Beating the campaign is no easy feat but it doesn’t end there. Those looking for an even tougher challenge can enter Prestige Mode where boys become men and history is made. The game gets harder each time you do this and you’ll also be forced to ditch any existing gadgets. You’ll receive a shiny badge for your bravery, though, so wear it with pride and showcase your talent!

Will I still have access to Survival Challenges if I enter Prestige Mode?

You betcha! Only the game’s primary campaign will be reset.

SURVIVAL CHALLENGES

How do I access Survival Challenges?

Survival Challenges are unlocked by destroying capital cities throughout the campaign. There is one challenge per continent and the aim is to survive for as long as possible!

How do I see what my friends have scored?

Survival Challenges feature global leaderboards for high score chasers and hardcore gamers alike. Just sign in using Facebook or Google+ to compete against friends and prove your skills to the world!

Is there any way to beat or finish a Survival Challenge?

Nope! Just destroy everything in your path and go out in style!
