Age of Zombies lives again!

AUSTRALIA, Brisbane – June 5th, 2014 –

It has been over four years since Age of Zombies first landed in the hands of gamers worldwide. It is Halfbrick’s longest-running active game and a testament to the evolving world of digital products. Today Halfbrick is pleased to announce the continued enhancement of one of its most beloved games, as a new team continues to add fresh content and deliver Age of Zombies to a new audience.

The key message from Ramine Darabiha, Chief Product Officer at Halfbrick, is that Age of Zombies is going to be aggressively updated in drastically different ways.

“We want to accelerate our learning and experimentation with new gameplay, content, social features and more,” said Ramine. “Age of Zombies is the perfect game for us to try anything we want, hear from our players about what they like, and then go back and change it some more. We will be breaking things for sure.”

Kicking off the new Age of Zombies saga is an initial content update to the game. It is available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as Google Play and Amazon App Store for Android.

The biggest addition is the universal controller support for a huge range of unique phone and tablet devices. Age of Zombies now supports all major iOS 7 controllers including the Logitech PowerShell, Razer Kazuyo and SteelSeries Stratus. For Android, controllers include the Nyko Playpad Pro, MOGA Pro Controller and Samsung Gamepad.

Finally, players now have the chance to ride the legendary Zombie T-Rex as an awesome vehicle pickup! Our hero Barry Steakfries has tamed everyone’s favorite undead dinosaur for a grand zombie snack-a-thon.

Fans of Jetpack Joyride and Monster Dash take note! For a look at the chronology of Barry Steakfries games and how Halfbrick has evolved over the years to bring his story full circle, check out the awesome animated montage now live on YouTube.
